Public Consultation Event
30th August 2025, 10am-5pm
Helland Village Hall
Members of the public are encouraged to have their say on the proposed Helland Barton Windfarm as part of the public consultation process. The deadline for submission of comments is 22nd September 2025.
The public consultation comprises a blend of an in-person event and information on the project website.
The public consultation meeting will take place at Helland Village Hall on 30th August 2025 between 10am and 5pm.
Members of the team will provide information and answer questions about the project to seek planning consent for a new windfarm.
Representatives from the project will be available to discuss the proposals and answer questions from the public. The in-person event will offer members of the community a clear overview of the project. Additional information will be made available via the website.
Members of the public are encouraged to share their thoughts and queries both at the public consultation event and via the ‘contact us’ feedback section of the website.
As part of the public consultation process, the project stakeholder engagement team will work with local communities and potential stakeholders to gather and record feedback and local information that will inform the project.
As per current Cornwall planning policy, the Applicant will make available the option to local communities to own at least 5% of the scheme subject to viability. Local stakeholder representatives are encouraged to contact us directly to discuss potential financial partnership options.
